Official Languages

The congress official languages will be Spanish and Portuguese. Main sessions will have simultaneous translation into English.

Certificate of Attendance

A certificate of attendance will be provided to all participants.

Official Invitation

An official letter of invitation will be forwarded to any participant upon request. However, this invitation implies no obligation, financial or otherwise, by the Congress.

Passports and Visas

We suggest that you contact your travel agent as in some cases, depending on the country of origin, visa is required when entering Perú.

Climate

The weather in Lima in December is warm during the day and chilly during the evenings. Temperature is between 15° C and 28° C.

Credit cards – Currency exchange

The monetary unit is the “nuevo sol”. One dollar is equivalent to approximately 3,20 nuevos soles (as of January 2007). Currency exchange is provided by banks and exchange houses. Credit cards VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DINERS) and US dollars are accepted in hotels, restaurants and shopping malls. Tips in restaurants range from 10% to 15%.

The Organizing Committee is not to be liable for personal accidents or loss/damage of private properties of congress participants either during the congress or during any of the tours. It is therefore recommended that participants arrange their own personal health, accident and travel insurance.
